    Exploring values of environmental and social goods and services, particularly those that markets do not reflect

  • Expert Elicitation

    Gathering insights and knowledge from experts to inform decision-making, particularly in areas where data are limited and/or uncertain.

  • Applied Econometrics

    Understanding and/or proposing rigorous econometric methods to assess causality in a world of associations.

  • Resilient Cities

    Developing strategies to develop resilient and adaptive cities. This agenda intersects urban planning, green infrastructure, and community-driven actions.

  • Energy transitions

    Informing energy transitions that leave no one behind . This agenda emphasizes the role of the residential sector and the need to support those that will see their livelihoods affected.

  • Sustainable Agriculture

    Investigating preferences for sustainable farming practices. This agenda intersects agricultural transitions, food security, and small-scale farming.

  • Blue Economy

    Exploring values of services that marine resources deliver to different economic sectors. This agenda intersects sustainable management of coastal and ocean resources, value of marine biodiversity, and tourism.

  • Natural Resource Governance

    Exploring governance models for management of natural resources. This agenda discusses synergies and trade-offs among participation levels and governance principles.

  • Bioeconomy

    Bioeconomy explores the sustainable use of natural resources in agriculture and forestry, integrating economic and ecological principles. It emphasizes opportunities for new crops and forest products in response to climate change.
